Who or What is She?

  • She calls herself Lauren but is also known as Mom, Gramma, Lar, and, once upon a time, Peach.
An ex-suburbanite who moved to the wilds of the Sonoran Desert and decided to raise fiber animals, fowl creatures, 3 halflings, and one pint-sized farmer without a clue as to how. Join Lauren as she learns how to file alpaca teeth, shear a horny goat, raise 3 teenagers and 1 grandchild while cooking dinner and doing the laundry with her other six arms.

Next time you feel that stupid turkey on you, keep your eyes shut and just roll over. The quicker the better. Eventually he'll get the idea that even if he doesn't like you, he must RESPECT you. Or you'll squash him. Either way, problem solved.

We've had a problem with Japanese beetles this summer...and I was going to go out and buy beetle traps. Until somebody pointed me to a web site that informed me that the beetle traps have sexy little beetle pheromones in them and I would be attracting beetles from a million-mile radius with them. So I opted instead to wait for winter. Which around here, is only about 8 weeks away.

I so wish I could go to Nancy's party! (Envy, envy, envy) Are you bringing animals back? I know Bluff Country Skittles would love to go to see his "Mom" again, but he's been busy with this year's sons here: Shaun, Sven and Ole.

I wish I could go! At that time I will still have my NZ relations here. Oh, Pook!

Oh, and I forgot to mention Skit's daughter: Blessa. He would really be angry if I forgot to mention her. hee, hee
