Who or What is She?

  • She calls herself Lauren but is also known as Mom, Gramma, Lar, and, once upon a time, Peach.
An ex-suburbanite who moved to the wilds of the Sonoran Desert and decided to raise fiber animals, fowl creatures, 3 halflings, and one pint-sized farmer without a clue as to how. Join Lauren as she learns how to file alpaca teeth, shear a horny goat, raise 3 teenagers and 1 grandchild while cooking dinner and doing the laundry with her other six arms.

Welcome back. You've been missed!
Your tree is beautiful ~ in spite of the cat.

When did hunky husband grow the beard?

I'm picking up some 'little white packages' from the butcher today ~ want me to send you some "good luck charms"?????

;-)

I'm wishing you a truly Happy New Year!

Michelle

Ho ho ho - you did it! And may I say your tree is jaw-dropping beautiful; I love the combination of ornaments, ribbons, and garlands. Makes my tree look sparse; oh well. Gotta run; I hear the puppy chewing on something hard, which is a no-no. Why did I think I could "do" a new puppy during the holidays with a six-year-old son and keep my sanity???

Barbara from Nova Scotia

Personally I think the cat made a great ornament. We still have three kittens and they did the same thing. My sympathies for the broken ornaments. I can totally relate.
All the best in the New Year.

Happy New Year --- or whatever it was you were celebrating. I wouldn't mind that young man showing up on MY doorstep. Of course he'd probably blow right on through the house the way the wind is today!

I loved your tree --- made all the more fun by having visited your home so I know EXACTLY where the tree is located. Truly beautiful -- even with the cat! I'm had cat-decorated trees many years in my lifetime.

May 2008 bless you with health, happiness and enough of everything you need. And may your wee operation thrive and stay safe from the vultures of life.
