Who or What is She?

  • She calls herself Lauren but is also known as Mom, Gramma, Lar, and, once upon a time, Peach.
An ex-suburbanite who moved to the wilds of the Sonoran Desert and decided to raise fiber animals, fowl creatures, 3 halflings, and one pint-sized farmer without a clue as to how. Join Lauren as she learns how to file alpaca teeth, shear a horny goat, raise 3 teenagers and 1 grandchild while cooking dinner and doing the laundry with her other six arms.

GREAT post, girl -- oh, and I'm proud of you! Now tell me how to stop eating sugar, because it often goes with fat, and my LDLs are scarin' me. And you could tell the doctor you have a bad case of lovin' lewd.... hee!

An old friend

Not sure going back to 1981 would change to many things in our life. As the Prom's theme was "Roll with the Changes" by REO Speedwagon, that is exactly what we have done over the years. More importantly, we have adapted to our surroundings and environment. We should never be down on ourselves. Life is to short. If ever you could turn back time to those high school days at Jenks, what one thing would it be?
I remember there were several individuals that held you very high in their thoughts on a regular basis and even so to this day. So never knock yourself down. Stay away from the "Blues" Listen to some Crosby Stills Nash and Young (I believe it was one of your favorites) or some B52's.
Hope all is well and I am surprised you have not updated your website for sometime.
TC
