Who or What is She?

  • She calls herself Lauren but is also known as Mom, Gramma, Lar, and, once upon a time, Peach.
An ex-suburbanite who moved to the wilds of the Sonoran Desert and decided to raise fiber animals, fowl creatures, 3 halflings, and one pint-sized farmer without a clue as to how. Join Lauren as she learns how to file alpaca teeth, shear a horny goat, raise 3 teenagers and 1 grandchild while cooking dinner and doing the laundry with her other six arms.

Oh my Gosh Lauren! Did it come in your house? We only got 1.5 inches on the opposite side of the Valley. Sure glad you are ok. What about your four legged barnyard kids?? At least it should have brought your water table up some. Giant hugs to you all!!

Oh,no! What a mess! Are the animals all right? Is there anything we can do to help?

OMG, Lauren! It's hard to comprehend, looking at the photos & videos ~ I can't imagine what it must have been like LIVING it!!

The one thought that kept running through my mind as I read/watched your tale was: "Thank God it wasn't FIRE!"

If there is any way that I can be of any help to you ~ via long distance ~ please let me know. Is there anything you need? Where do you even begin to clean up????

What does the pint sized farmer think about all of this?

Hugs to you all
