Madeline's Big Adventure

Saturday marked the end of the suggested three-day mother-daughter bonding incarceration and therefore Madeline’s debut to the outside world.

Here are her first few tentative steps outside the lamb enclosure:

At all times, she stayed close to Mom

And listened closely to instruction,

Some of it whispered so as not to let the other ruminants in on her secrets.

All in all, she seemed satisfied with the fresh air and sunshine and enjoyed the great outdoors in all its majesty.

Lauren- from the photos, she looks to be a very good sized lamb. Healthy and pretty too! Cookie does nice work.
